Tiffany Haddish is the host for TBS` new movie showcase “Friday Night Vibes.” Comedians and celebrities join the show every week. Haddish highlights action-packed showstoppers and laugh-out-loud comedies. On the show, Haddish discusses movies, music and showcases diverse voices on the big screen. Alongside Haddish is Deon Cole (Black-ish) as her co-host. Haddish`s first guest was comedian, Earthquake.
Haddish is an American actress, comedian, and author. Ever since guest starring on multiple television shows, she became known as Nekeisha Williams on NBC`s sitcom, The Carmichael Show, which first aired back in August 2015. Haddish`s book, The Last Black Unicorn, features personal essays from the popular comedian. It was published back in January 2019. You can catch her show every Friday night at 7/6c.
The Amber Ruffin Show
You can watch The Amber Ruffin Show for free exclusively on the new streaming service Peacock. Amber Ruffin hosts while talking about the weekly news with a comedic twist. There is only one season so far, so there is plenty of time to catch up!
For those who don’t know who Amber Ruffin is, she is an American comedian, television host, writer, actress, author and playwright. She also has a book titled, You`ll Never Believe What Happened to Lacey: Crazy Stories about Racism, and she wrote for Seth Meyers Late Night since 2014. Ruffin has been nominated for the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series, Writers Guild of America Award for Best Comedy/Variety Talk Series, and the Writers guild of America Award for Television: Comedy/Variety-Sketch Series.
Nick Cannon Show
Nick Cannon`s new talk show features a blend of music, comedy, sketches, games, pop culture, plus a variety of interviews with plenty of celebrities. Way back in 2002, Cannon also had his own talk show titled, The Nick Cannon Show. It was a spin-off of the television show All That. The show aired on Nickelodeon`s SNICK block from January 2002 to February 2003. You can tune in the Cannon`s new show on WNYW at 11:00am or WWOR 12:30am.
Lenard “Charlamagne” Mckelvey`s “Tha God`s Honest Truth”
Lenard McKelvey, a.k.a Charlamagne tha God is teaming up with Late Night host Stephen Colbert for Tha God`s Honest Truth on Comedy Central. Charlamagne tha God`s show will focus on topics that revolve around social issues, politics, and culture. These topics will be discussed during deep dives, sketches, and even social experiments.
Lenard Larry McKelvey is also a radio host, actor, and author. McKelvey`s books include, Black Privilege: Opportunity Comes to Those Who Create It (Published 2017), Shook One: Anxiety Playing Tricks on Me (Published 2018). You can catch Tha God`s Honest Truth Friday`s at 10/9c.
The Tamron Hall Show
Tamron Hall was the first African-American woman to co-anchor the Today Show. Before she joined MSNBC, Hall worked at FOX 32 News Chicago, reporting news for ten years.
Tamron Hall now has vaccinated audience for season three of her show, which premiered September 6th. This will be the first time she will have an audience since the pandemic. The studio in New York City has been fully redesigned in order to fit in a capacity of 50%. While she will welcome back her fans, they will still be socially distanced.
Hall told Deadline, “I can’t think of a more vital and more relevant way to kick off Season 3 than two conversations happening in nearly every home right now –children and masks and critical race.”
Trevor Noah`s ‘New’ Daily Show
Trevor Noah`s Daily Social Distancing Show is over! Noah`s show was on hiatus for three months, but now it is back and better than ever. While Noah filmed the Daily Show from his apartment, he claimed that it wasn`t working well for him anymore. Noah told TVLine, “You see, I would have kept doing the show from my apartment, but then I started to have problems with the wifi, and I decided that building an entirely new studio was easier than calling Spectrum.” That does seem a lot more convenient than having to call the cable guy!
Trevor Noah is a South African comedian, television host, writer, producer, political commentator, and actor. Noah first began his career as an actor in South Africa in 2002. The Daily Show is now filmed at ViacomCBS’ Times Square headquarters. You can watch Noah`s Daily Show on Monday`s at 11p.m. ET (8 p.m. PT.)
