This horror, comedy follows a group of teenagers who are forced to protect their neighborhood in the Bronx when a gathering of vampires invades. The film cleverly shows you the impact of gentrification in a Bronx neighborhood and shows you how the community still has power to protect their neighborhood against greedy “vampires.”

Vampires vs. The Bronx was directed by Osmany Rodriguez and written by Osmany Rodriguez and Blaise Hemingway. It stars new young actors Jaden Michael, Gerald W. Jones III, and Gregory Diaz IV. Blumhouse never lets us down especially during October. Black Box is about a man that loses his wife and memory in a car accident. Nolan a single father undergoes an agonizing experimental treatment that causes him to question who he really is. A Babysitter’s Guide To Monster Hunting

Looking for a friendly Halloween movie for your teens well this is the one! A Babysitter’s Guide To Monster Hunting is about a teenage girl that is recruited by a secret society of babysitters. She is forced to battle the Boogeyman and his monsters when they nab the little boy she is watching on Halloween. Bad Hair

Horror has taken a new turn with this movie where terror strikes when a woman’s new hair weave seems to take on a life of its own. Written and Directed by Justin Simien (Dear White People) you can expect political commentary intertwined with the struggles of being a black woman in America. Following a modern-day woman, Veronica Henley, successful author finds herself trapped in a horrifying slave plantation where she is forced to confront her past, present, and future in order to escape. His House

Netflix hits us with a shocking horror around Sudanese refugees. Starring Wunmi Mosaku (LoveCraft Country) and Sope Dirisu (Gangs of London), a refugee couple makes a harrowing escape from war-torn South Sudan, but then they struggle to adjust to their new life in an English town once they discover their home is haunted. Now they must make the awful chose of going back to Sudan or staying in their hauntedly, evil home. Check out the trailer!


Have you been missing Omari Hardwick like we have since Starz Power ended? Well the wait is over because Hardwick is the lead in this spellbound horror movie staring Loretta Devine, Andre Jacobs, and Lorraine Burroughs. Produced by Morris Chesnut, Spell follows a family as they fly to rural Appalachia for Marquis (Hardwick) fathers funeral. An intense storm causes Marquis to lose control of the plane carrying himself and his family.

He awakens in the home of a hoodoo priestess, Eloise, where he is wounded, alone and trapped in her attic. Eloise claims she can nurse him back to health with a hoodoo figure she has made from his blood and skin. Instead Marquis is bound under her spell and control, he desperately tries to break free from her dark magic and save his family from a sinister ritual before the rise of the blood moon. Blumhouse’s The Craft Legacy

Almost twenty five years later, The Craft sequel is told by Blumhouse telling the story of four high school teenage girls with magical powers. The Craft: Legacy is a supernatural horror film written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones. This coven of teen witches stars Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, Michelle Monaghan, and David Duchovny. The Witches – HBO Max

Another sequel hits us from HBO Max with the remake of the 1990s film The Witches this time starring Anne Hathaway, Octavia Spencer, and Chris Rock.

In late 1967, a young orphaned boy moves in with his loving grandma in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis, after his family is killed in a car accident. While raising the young boy, grandmother recalls her encounter with witches as a child, and to protect her grandson they travel to a seaside resort for safety. Unfortunately, they arrive at the resort at the exact same time as the Grand High Witch has gathered witches all around the world to carry out a poisonous plan to rid the world of children.
