What makes this film even more remarkable is its unflinching portrayal of Rustin as an openly gay Black man, shedding light on the challenges he faced as he helped build the civil rights movement.

The Marvels – November 10 – Movie Theaters

Among the most highly anticipated releases this month is “The Marvels,” featuring our favorites like Lashana Lynch and Teyonah Parris. After Carol Danvers, better known as Captain Marvel, triumphed over the tyrannical Kree and sought revenge on the enigmatic Supreme Intelligence, the universe is far from stable. What’s even more thrilling is the entwining of Captain Marvel’s tough powers with two other extraordinary heroes, forging the incredible trio known as the Marvels.

Hunger Games: Ballad of the Song Birds – November 17 – Hulu

The Hunger Games returns again but this time with a spinoff allowing us to re-enter into the captivating and dystopian world of Panem under different circumstances. This thrilling spinoff series takes us to a time when Coriolanus Snow, the future tyrannical president of Panem, was just an 18-year-old facing a dire challenge. With the 10th annual Hunger Games on the horizon, Snow is tasked with mentoring Lucy Gray Baird from District 12. As the fate of his family’s legacy hangs in the balance, Snow and Lucy Gray unite their showmanship and political acumen, racing against the clock to distinguish between those who are genuine songbirds and those who are cunning snakes. Good Burger 2 – November 22 – Paramount +

Personally, I think this gem took too long to come but “Good Burger 2” hits the screen featuring veterans from the 1st film such as Kenan Thompson, and Kel Mitchell as well as some new faces. The laughter never stops as Dexter Reed and the lovable cashier Ed reunite, this time at the iconic fast-food joint, Good Burger. The hilarity escalates as a fresh and uproarious crew of employees joins them.
